Privacy Policy

BusinessAIMD LLC (“BusinessAIMD,” “we,” “us”) provides AI consulting to small businesses in Northeast Ohio. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legalese.

Information we collect

What you send us through this site

The consult form is the only place this site asks you to enter information. When you submit it, we receive the details you choose to enter:

• Your name and business name
• Your email address, and your phone number if you provide one
• The business problem you describe and the categories you select

Please do not send personal health information, patient information, or other sensitive personal data through this form. The form is for business questions. If you send information of that kind anyway, we will delete it.

Information collected automatically

This site is a static website. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not use cookies to build a profile of you. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.

Phone calls and text messages

When you call a number our missed-call service operates, including our own business number, we and our carrier (Twilio) process call metadata such as the calling number, the time of the call, and whether the call was answered, along with the contents of messages sent through the service. This happens for every call to such a number, whether or not a text is sent.

Text messaging

BusinessAIMD sends an automated text back when we miss a call to our own business number, +1 (216) 279-7161. This section explains how you opt in, what you receive, and how to stop the messages at any time. These are customer service replies to a call you made. We never send marketing or promotional texts.

How you opt in

You are told, out loud, before any text is sent. When you call our number, you hear a greeting that discloses the text-back before it happens:

“Thanks for calling BusinessAIMD. If we can't pick up, we'll text you right back at this number. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.”

Only if your call then goes unanswered is one automated reply sent to the number you called from, from the number you dialed. If your call is answered, no text is sent, and you receive at most one automated text back per missed call. Replying STOP to any of our texts opts your number out of all further texts from our number, including after future missed calls, until you reply START. We do not buy, rent, import, or scrape phone numbers, and the text-back is never sent to anyone who has not first called and heard the greeting; the only other message the service sends is an internal missed-call alert to our own staff phone. What you receive

A short reply letting you know your call was missed and how to get help. For example:

• Hi, this is BusinessAIMD. Sorry we missed your call. Reply here and we'll help, or call us back at another time. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.
• Thanks for calling BusinessAIMD! We're with a customer right now. Reply with what you need and we'll get right back to you. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.

Frequency, cost, and opting out

• Frequency. At most one automated text to you per missed call, and no recurring messages. How often you receive one depends only on how often you call and we miss you.
• Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for these messages.
• Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. Reply HELP for help, or email info@businessaimd.com. Opt-out instructions are included in the first message.
• Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile information

Mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

If we run this service for another business

We build the same missed-call text-back for client businesses. When we do, it runs on that business's own phone number under that business's name, with the same disclosures: a spoken greeting before any text, at most one automated text-back per missed call, and STOP to opt out. That business is the sender of its messages; this policy governs how we handle the data that passes through the service we operate.

How we use information

We use what you send us to:

• Reply to you and prepare for the free Business Check-Up
• Deliver and support services you have hired us to provide
• Keep records required for accounting, tax, and legal obligations

We do not sell your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. This includes mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in consent (see Text messaging above).

Service providers

We rely on a small number of vendors to operate. They process information only as needed to provide their service to us:

• Formspree delivers the consult form to our inbox
• Fastmail hosts our email
• Vercel and Cloudflare host and serve this website
• Twilio carries phone calls and text messages for client services

How long we keep information

We keep consult requests for as long as needed to respond and to maintain ordinary business records, and delete them when they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete yours sooner. Call metadata and message contents are retained in our carrier's (Twilio's) logs under its standard retention, and we keep them only as long as needed to operate the service and meet record-keeping obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@businessaimd.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.

Security

We use reputable providers and limit access to information to those who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site and our services are for businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here.
