BusinessAIMD Free check-up

A doctor's diagnostic rigor, applied to your business.

Most "AI consultants" sell you a tool and leave. I'm a physician. I work your business the way I'd work a patient: examine it, diagnose the real problem, and prescribe a fix that actually moves the numbers. You never have to touch the technology.

  • No-cost first conversation
  • Plain English, no jargon
  • You work directly with me

The problem with most "AI help"

You've heard you should "use AI." But every pitch sounds the same (a chatbot, a dashboard, a subscription), and none of them start by asking what's actually broken in your business. So you're stuck doing the work by hand: the spreadsheets, the follow-ups, the phone tag, the after-hours admin that eats your evenings.

That's backwards. You don't prescribe before you diagnose.

This is built for owner-run small businesses across Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio: the shops, practices, and service businesses still running on spreadsheets, paper, and memory, where the owner is the bottleneck and there's no time to figure out which tool is worth it.

How a diagnosis works

I run every engagement like a clinical encounter. No guessing, no generic tooling, just a structured work-up that ends in a plan you can actually act on.

And it’s a partnership, not a lecture. You know your business better than anyone, so I listen first: for the signs and symptoms, for where it’s really breaking down. Then we work through the diagnosis, the plan, and the cure together. I’m not here to hand you a list of do-this-and-that. I’m here to help you restore, improve, and maintain the wellness of your business.

  1. Intake.

You tell me, in one sentence, what's hurting the business. We start with your words, not a sales script.

  2. Examination.

I look at the real assets (your workflow, your numbers, where the hours actually go) and measure a baseline, noting what's already working so we build on it, not break it. You can't prove something improved without it.

  3. Diagnosis.

I separate the real problem from the noise and name the one thing worth fixing first. Sometimes the fix isn't even technology.

  4. Treatment.

You get a working solution built and delivered, described in the language of your business, not a stack of jargon. You see "fewer missed calls," not "a workflow automation."

What you walk away with

Two documents, in plain English, that you own:

Document 01

A Vitals Report
An honest read on where your business is losing time and money right now, with the baseline numbers to back it.

Document 02

A Treatment Plan
Exactly what gets fixed, in what order, what result to expect, and how we'll know it worked.

No 80-slide deck. No homework. A clear diagnosis and a prescription you can say yes to.

Working together

The path is always the same. The fix never is.

Most vendors show up holding one product and go looking for a reason to sell it. I work the other way. Every engagement starts the same way: I look before I recommend, and what I prescribe depends entirely on what I find. No two businesses get the same fix.

Step 01

Free

The Check-Up
I look at how your business actually runs and find the one or two things quietly costing you the most. You leave with a plain-English write-up you keep, whether or not we ever work together.

Step 02

Scoped to what I find

The fix
I won't quote a fix I haven't diagnosed. As a rough floor, ongoing help has started around $149/mo for early clients. The real number comes after the Check-Up, always fixed and agreed before any work begins. You'll never see a bill you didn't say yes to.

Whatever we find gets weighed against what it’s already costing you. One missed call can be a customer walking to a competitor, and if that’s happening every week, the leak costs you more each month than the fix costs once.

I’m one person, not an agency with a package to upsell, so I scope the smallest thing that solves your problem. If there’s nothing here worth fixing yet, I’ll tell you that too.

For a lot of local shops the biggest leak is simply the calls they can’t answer, so I set up an instant text-back that catches the lead. But that’s one example. Yours might be something else entirely.

Why me

  • MD-PhD · data scientist & physician
  • Builds & ships AI software, hands-on
  • Diagnosis-first, plain-English

Long before I was a physician, I was building things with data. I spent years as a data scientist, writing code to pull clear answers out of huge, complicated datasets, often to improve health in communities that too often get overlooked. Then I went to medical school and earned an MD and a PhD together, and I kept coding and building with data the whole way through my training. I've worked hands-on with AI since well before it hit the headlines, and built with it as it has grown, from the early systems to the models everyone uses now. I don't just use AI. I actively build and ship software-as-a-service (SaaS) products of my own, powered by the newest AI models, and I stay at the front edge of the field as it changes.

I'm also a physician. That's where the method comes from: I take the most complex picture, break it into a clear answer a care team can act on, and sit with the patient to explain it, work that helps heal and sometimes save lives. I bring that same discipline to your business: listen first and diagnose the real problem, prescribe only what actually helps, and treat you with respect and dignity, never as just another sales lead.

That's where it ties together: the data scientist in me finds what's really going on; the doctor in me makes sure we fix it carefully, honestly, and only when it helps. Deep AI and data expertise, joined to a doctor's rigor. The "MD" isn't a gimmick, and neither is the tech. It's a standard of care, applied to your business.

Not medical, legal, or financial advice. BusinessAIMD provides business consulting services.

How it starts

It starts with a conversation: no cost, no pressure, no obligation. Tell me the one thing that's slowing your business down. If it's something I can help with, I'll tell you how the work-up would go and what it would take. If it isn't, I'll tell you that too, and point you in a better direction.

I keep my client list short on purpose. That's how the work stays good.
